Gordon MRM was founded by Managing Director, Ray Gordon. Gordon has been a leading consultant in the sector for three decades and has advised many of the participants in the the biggest political and business stories in the country since the 1980s.

The team at Gordon MRM includes senior consultants with experience in public affairs and politics, print and broadcast journalism.

Ray Gordon founded the firm in 2009 stepping down as Managing Director and Shareholder of one of the largest PR firms in Ireland to do so. All of Ray's clients joined him in the new firm.

Over the past 10 years Gordon MRM has represented many of the most high profile clients in Ireland and the firm has advised participants in many of the most high profile and controversial news stories of the time.

The firm worked with the National Asset Management Agency (NAMA) from the agency's inception through the acquisition of loans with a par value of over €70 billion euro and through the years since.

The firm worked with the National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) through the period when Ireland withdrew from the international bond markets and through to its reentry to those markets.

The firm managed media relations for **Irish Life & Permanent ** (one of the largest financial services businesses in Ireland) through the financial crisis including the collapse in the company's share price, the nationalisation of the company, the controversy of transactions involving that company with Anglo Irish Bank, the break up of the Group and the sale of Irish Life to the Canadian company, Great West LifeCo.

The firm advised the Department of Finance on the IPO of AIB (2017), the largest IPO in Europe that year.
