IMO launches election campaign poster
24 Jan 2020As the main political parties launch their manifestos, the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) has today warned that the focus must remain on overcrowding, waiting lists and the GP capacity crisis in the health system. Speaking today, Dr McGarry said: ‘Politicians are quick to make unrealistic promises during election campaigns, but the IMO urges all political parties to focus on the real issues at hand rather than engaging in empty electioneering. We know that health is the single most important issue for the majority of voters in this general election. We need real solutions for the sake of our patients’
